Welcome to

Birkvaughan Border Collies.

Andrew Birkett and Russell Vaughan make up the partnership that is Birkvaughan Border Collies.

We are a small kennel situated just outside the Lake District.

Andrew started off showing and breeding goats when he was young. He became interested in showing German Shepherds and then moved on to Rottweilers

When Andrew met Russell he was still showing Rottweilers, however Russell had always wanted a Border Collie and so Andrew bought Russell their first Border Collie. Belle, who even though mismarked did well at shows.

These intelligent and lovable dogs soon became addictive and the clan began to grow

Belle produced the first litter and the rest is as they say history.

Russell now shows the Border Collies, whilst Andrew is in charge of the breeding side of things.
